Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Plainshot is made by Appience (Jan Lipmann), Warsaw, Poland. Contact: jan@appience.com

Short version: Plainshot does not collect any data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores

Shots (date, medication, dose, site, side effects, notes), weights and your settings are stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. They are included in your device backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you have backups turned on, under your own Apple Account.

We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We never see, receive, sell or share your data.

Apple Health

If you turn on "Apple Health weight", Plainshot reads your body weight from Apple Health to show it in the app, and saves weights you enter to Apple Health. It requests no other Health data. Health data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device through Plainshot.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No push service is used.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details or personal information.

Import and export

CSV files you import are read on your device. Files you export are created on your device and go only where you choose to send them.

This website

plainshot.app uses no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts. It is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to run and secure the site.

Children

Plainshot is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
